TramaQuesto anime racconta le divertenti avventure di Sakamoto Kappei (Gigi la trottola nell'adattamento italiano), un ragazzo terribilmente pervertito che, nonostante la bassa statura, è dotato di incredibile talento per qualsiasi sport e il cui sogno è quello di conquistare l'amore della bella Akane Aki. Appena iscritto al Liceo Seirin, viene costretto dalle regole della scuola ad iscriversi a un circolo sportivo e la sua scelta ricadrà su quello apparentemente meno adatto alla sua statura: la pallacanestro.
