Army of Thieves, film diretto da Matthias Schweighöfer, racconta la storia di Ludwig Dieter (Matthias Schweighöfer), uno scassinatore di origini tedesche reclutato da un una ragazza per entrare a far parte di un gruppo di ladri. Il team è uno dei più ricercati dall'Interpol e sta pensando di mettere a segno una rapina top secret, la più grande mai fatta, mentre un'apocalisse zombie sta dilagando.
Per portare a termine il colpo, però, il gruppo ha bisogno del più bravo scassinatore di casseforti e Ludwig sembra proprio l'uomo che stanno cercando.
