Attacco al Potere 3 - Angels Has Fallen, il film diretto da Ric Roman Waugh, vede il ritorno di Gerard Butler nei panni dell'agente dei servizi segreti Mike Banning. In questo terzo capitolo dell'adrenalinica saga action assisteremo a una sorprendente e inaspettata svolta: sarà infatti il nostro eroe Banning ad essere costretto alla fuga, braccato dalla polizia e dagli agenti dell'FBI. Accusato di essere un nemico dello Stato e di aver addirittura attentato alla vita del Presidente degli Stati Uniti, Allan Trumbull (Morgan Freeman), di cui è la guardia personale, Banning è costretto a cercherà di scoprire e rivelare la vera minaccia. Ad aiutarlo a scagionarsi troverà al suo fianco il padre, interpretato da Nick Nolte, new entry nel cast.
