TRAMA THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN
The Amazing Spider - Man è un film del 2012 diretto da Marc Webb. Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) è un diciassettenne brillante con un’inclinazione naturale per la scienza e un debole per la bella Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone), figlia del capo della polizia. Dopo la morte dei suoi genitori, avvenuta in un misterioso incidente aereo, Peter è stato affidato alle cure degli zii Ben (Martin Sheen) e May (Sally Field) che lo hanno cresciuto come un figlio. Ma la tragica sorte dei suoi genitori ossessiona il ragazzo, che decide di compiere qualche ricerca sul passato. Così, Peter si reca alla Oscorp dove rintraccia Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans), ex collega di suo padre, che conduce una serie di esperimenti genetici. Prima di lasciare la sede della multinazionale, Peter viene morso da un ragno modificato geneticamente che gli trasmette i suoi poteri. Forte delle sue nuove doti, Peter vendica gli abusi del bullo Flash Thompson (Chris Zylka) e contatta Connors per aiutarlo nelle sue ricerche.
Deluso dall’atteggiamento del giovane, zio Ben rimprovera aspramente Peter che fugge da casa come una furia. Ben lo segue per le strade di New York ma viene brutalmente assassinato da un malvivente. Addolorato dalla morte dello zio e frustrato dal senso di colpa, Peter giura di vendicare la sua morte. In breve tempo, scelto il travestimento, il ragazzo diventa un eroe per i cittadini che iniziano a chiamarlo Spider-Man per via delle sue doti da ragno. Mentre Peter e Gwen si innamorano e il ragazzo ripulisce la città dalla criminalità, Connors si lascia convincere a testare un nuovo e pericoloso siero che lo trasforma in Lizard, un mutante all’aspetto di lucertola. Spider-Man scova e affronta Lizard, comprendendo che egli altri non è che il dottore. Con la complicità di Gwen, Peter cerca un modo per salvare Connors che ha architettato un folle e spietato piano...
