Applicando una nuova tecnologia, l'omicidio è stato eliminato: infatti la polizia (grazie a tre giovani veggenti ritenuti infallibili detti "Pre-Cogs", che sono in grado di vedere immagini che svelano il tempo, il luogo e altri dettagli dei reati che stanno per accadere) può prevedere il futuro e punire i colpevoli prima che i delitti vengano commessi. Il comandante John Anderton fa parte del reparto di intervento incaricato di arrestare i potenziali malviventi: ma quando anche per lui scatta l'ordine di arresto (per evitare che uccida un perfetto sconosciuto nelle prossime 36 ore), è costretto a provare la propria innocenza e a sfuggire al suo stesso dipartimento capitanato dall'eterno rivale Danny Witwer, che vuole eliminarlo. Muovendosi di nascosto dai radar della città tecnologicamente più avanzata, dove ogni individuo è controllato 24 ore su 24, John deve dimostrare che i Pre-Cogs possono sbagliare... Screenshots
