


Samuel è un eterno adolescente, uno che vive in vacanza dalle responsabilità della vita, che non riesce a fermare il divertimento nemmeno quando l'ora si fa tarda. Poi, una mattina, bussa alla sua porta una vecchia fiamma, la ragazza di un'estate, Kristin, di cui Samuel non serba quasi ricordo e gli mette in braccio un neonato, Gloria: sua figlia. Kristin sale quindi su un taxi e sparisce letteralmente nulla. Samuel la rincorre a Londra, convinto che si tratti di un disguido rapidamente risolvibile, ma otto anni dopo lui e Gloria sono ancora insieme, più legati che mai.
