Elle Woods ormai una giovane avvocatessa di successo in un importante studio legale. Inoltre fervono i preparativi per il matrimonio con il suo Emmett. Ma una ferale notizia sconvolge la sua vita perfetta: i cani della stessa razza del suo amato chihuahua Bruiser vengono utilizzati per la sperimentazione dei cosmetici.
