Jack e David, due studenti americani in vacanza in Inghilterra, vengono assaliti in una piovosa notte di plenilunio da una mostruosa creatura. Jack viene orrendamente dilaniato, David viene ferito e il mostro viene ucciso dagli abitanti del villaggio. A David, ricoverato in ospedale, appare in sogno Jack che lo mette in guardia sul fatto che lui stesso diventerà come il mostro che lo ha ferito.
