Trama:Matt Carter, un agricoltore che vive solo col figlio Mark, salva dal fiume un uomo e una donna. Il primo gli prende cavallo e fucile, per recarsi in città a registrare la proprietà di una miniera vinta al gioco. La donna, May, (Monroe) resta invece con Matt. Fuggiti per un attacco indiano, i tre riescono a raggiungere la città, dove ritrovano l'avventuriero. La resa dei conti viene risolta da Mark. May resterà per sempre con Matt e il bambino.
