CRITICA:
Il regista Darren Aronofsky schiva il sacro e abbraccia artisticamente il mito del diluvio universale, facendo di Noah la propria arca di ossessioni. Il film si avvale di interessanti soluzioni visive riuscendo a conferire una certa personalità all'intera opera, che si tratta pur sempre di un kolossal ad alto budget. Ma è la profondità del personaggio, il suo dilemma interiore e il rapporto con la sua famiglia a dare spessore al film, grazie soprattutto alle ottime interpretazioni di Russell Crowe e Jennifer Connelly. Trama:Noah è il prescelto dal Creatore per eseguire le sue volontà. L'uomo deve costruire un'arca capace di contenere due esemplari di tutte le specie animali per metterli in salvo dall'arrivo di un diluvio che sommergerà tutte le terre emerse per lungo tempo. Il sacrificio di Noah e la sua devozione alla "missione", però, lo mettono in aspro conflitto con la sua famiglia prima che con se stesso.
