Un giovane soldato innamorato di Kathy si rifiuta di eseguire gli ordini e finisce in catene. Film che ebbe notevole impatto all'epoca, per la sua posizione dichiaratamente filo-indiana; leggibile anche come denuncia figurata della guerra in Vietnam. Ma non è tra i migliori western del periodo, anche se il massacro finale ha ancor oggi il suo impatto...
