Pirati dei Caraibi - La maledizione del forziere fantasma, film del 2006 diretto da Gore Verbinski, è il secondo capitolo della saga Pirati dei Caraibi e sequel de La maledizione della prima luna. Dopo aver liberato la Perla Nera dal terribile sortilegio del forziere azteco, Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) e Elizabeth Swan (Keira Knightley) stanno per convolare a nozze. La cerimonia, tuttavia, è bruscamente interrotta da Lord Beckett (Tom Hollander) che imprigiona la giovane e incarica Will di sottrarre a Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) la bussola magica, in grado di indicare al suo possessore la posizione di ciò che brama di più. Il pirata, intanto, riceve la visita di ‘Sputafuoco’ Bill Turner (Stellan Skarsgård) che, incaricato da Davy Jones (Bill Nighy), lo invita ad onorare il patto stretto tredici anni prima e a unirsi alla ciurma dell’Olandese Volante, se non vuole essere perseguitato dal Kraken.
