Face/Off - Due facce di un assassino, film del 1997 diretto da John Woo, è la storia dello scambio di identità fra eroe buono e cattivo, il tema del doppio affrontato con risvolti psicologici all’interno di un classico action movie hollywoodiano pieno di inseguimenti e adrenalina. Il terrorista Castor Troy (Nicolas Cage) e l’agente dell’FBI Sean Archer (John Travolta) hanno un conto in sospeso. Sei anni prima, infatti, Troy aveva sparato ad Archer ma il proiettile aveva colpito suo figlio Michael, uccidendo il bambino. Arrestare Troy diventa, quindi, una ragione di vita per l’agente, che riesce con la sua squadra a tendere un’imboscata al terrorista e a Pollux Troy (Alessandro Nivola), fratello minore di Castor e suo complice, all'aeroporto di Los Angeles.
