Molto tempo prima che scatenasse le sue ire su Biancaneve, la malefica regina Ravenna ha visto in silenzio come la sorella Freya sia stata tradita e sia fuggita dal regno per lo strazio. Grazie alla capacità che ha di congelare qualsiasi nemico, Freya ha trascorso diversi decenni in un palazzo d'inverno circondandosi di una legione di cacciatori, tra cui Eric e la guerriera Sara. Quando viene a sapere della morte della sorella, Freya chiede ai suoi rimanenti soldati di riportare lo Specchio magico all'unica strega che potrebbe sfruttarne a pieno i poteri. Ravenna, però, viene da lei resuscitata e la sua ricomparsa in scena permetterà alle due malvagie sorelle di riversare sulla loro Terra tutto il male di cui sono capaci. Solo Eric e Sara, oramai banditi, potranno intralciare i loro piani.
