Lucy è un film del 2014 diretto da Luc Besson.
La protagonista della vicenda è la giovane Lucy Miller (Scarlett Johansson), una studentessa spensierata che ama la vita mondana e frenetica di Taipei. Lo scapestrato fidanzato Richard (Pilou Asbæk) le chiede di consegnare una misteriosa valigetta al suo posto e, ignara di ciò che sta per accadere, Lucy si reca all'appuntamento.
Qui, tuttavia, c'è lo spietato boss Mr. Jang (Min-sik Choi) ad aspettarla. L’uomo la rapisce Lucy per sfruttarla come corriere della droga, inserendo chirurgicamente nel suo addome un sacchetto di CPH4 sintetico.
Mentre Mr. Jang ripete l’operazione su altri tre sventurati corrieri diretti a Parigi, Berlino e a Roma, Lucy si scontra con un gangster che vorrebbe abusare di lei.
Quando l’uomo la colpisce ripetutamente, l’involucro della sostanza si rompe e l'organismo della ragazza ne assorbe il contenuto. Il CPH4 le fa sviluppare diverse incredibili doti come la telecinesi, la capacità di piegare lo spazio a suo piacimento, un'incredibile memoria fotografica e la totale insensibilità per il dolore fisico e mentale.
