New West Records è orgogliosa di presentare Pylon Box - Uno sguardo completo alla band che presenta i loro LP in studio Gyrate e Chomp, entrambi rimasterizzati dai nastri originali, la raccolta di 11 canzoni Extra che include rarità e 5 studio inedito e registrazioni dal vivo, così come Razz Tape, la prima registrazione in assoluto di Pylon: una sessione inedita di 13 canzoni che precede il seminale debutto "Cool" b / n "Dub" della band. Pylon Box include anche un libro autografato a colori di 200 pagine con copertina rigida contenente brani scritti dai membri di REM, Gang of Four, Steve Albini, Corin Tucker e Carrie Brownstein di Sleater-Kinney, Sonic Youth, Interpol, B-52's, Bradford Cox di Deerhunter, Mission of Burma, Calvin Johnson di Beat Happening & K Records, Anthony DeCurtis, Chris Stamey dei dB's, Steve Wynn dei Dream Syndicate e molti altri. Include un ampio saggio che racconta la storia della band con interviste ai membri sopravvissuti della band e ai membri dei R.E.M., B-52's, Gang of Four, Method Actors e altri. Presenta inoltre immagini e manufatti mai visti prima dagli archivi personali della band, nonché oggetti ora conservati presso la Biblioteca delle collezioni speciali presso l'Università della Georgia e il Georgia Museum of Art, UGA.
