
Fuga è una miniserie britannica basata sull'omonimo romanzo del maestro del giallo Harlan Coben, adattato Danny Brocklehurst (Un inganno di troppo), con James Nesbitt (Missing You) nel ruolo di protagonista.
Quest'ultimo veste i panni di Simon Greene, un uomo con una vita apparentemente perfetta: ha un lavoro stabile, una casa da sogno e una famiglia amorevole. Ma tutto crolla quando la figlia maggiore, Paige (Ellie de Lange), scappa di casa senza lasciare traccia. Quando Simon riesce finalmente a ritrovarla in un parco cittadino, fragile e sotto l'effetto della droga, intravede una possibilità di ricominciare. Tuttavia, Paige non è sola. Un acceso confronto degenera rapidamente in violenza brutale, e Simon perde di nuovo sua figlia. Da questo momento inizia una disperata e pericolosa ricerca, che lo trascinerà in un mondo sotterraneo fatto di bugie, pericoli e segreti sepolti, con il rischio di distruggere ciò che resta della sua famiglia.
