Trama:Ryan Bingham (George Clooney) è un uomo d'affari specializzato in risorse umane. Il suo lavoro lo porta a viaggiare in continuazione in aereo e del resto il volare lo appassiona: Ryan continua a macinare voli (mentre i suoi capi vorrebbero che passasse più tempo a terra), con il progetto di accumulare i punti necessari per diventare "passeggero dell'anno".
