Trama:Peggy scopre nel castello sulla collina un curioso giovane, Edward, "creato" da uno strano inventore che è morto prima di potergli sistemare gli arti superiori. Le sue mani, incomplete, sono infatti due lunghe forbici. Peggy decide di portarlo a casa dal marito e i due figli, Kevin e Kim. Edward diventa il beniamino delle vicine, fino a quando una serie di rocambolesche circostaze amorose lo porteranno a trasformarsi in un "mostro", odiato e scacciato da tutti...
